The rules:
1. Post the rules on your blog.
2. Tell 7 random things about yourself.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post.
4. Pass on the tag.
1. I have had the same recurring dream that is scientific in a way I cannot describe with any lesson I've ever learned in physics, chemistry, or biology. It goes beyond all of those things and has perplexed me since I was little.
2. My eyes are getting greener by the day.
3. I really enjoy my current job. Everyday, I talk to compassionate, driven people who take their careers seriously for the sole benefit of helping others and saving lives. I've always loved asking questions about people, but now I know there's so much more reason to dig deep. People are amazing.
4. I loved being in Turkey last year; I would like to get to a point in my career where going for a few weeks every summer is feasible. It's historically rich, beautiful, relaxing, and has amazing food I only wish I could cook.
5. I will always prefer driving a car with a manual transmission. So much fun...even if it's a Mitsubishi Precis and my forehead touches the windshield.
6. I learned a great deal about the country and about life from my trips south with Grandma and Grandpa. Stopping to see historical and geographical landmarks, singing songs by Englebert Humperdink and Kenny Rogers (lets not forget my version of Whitney Houston...how I was not abandoned on I-75 remains a mystery), and just that Grandpa let me drive most of the way at 16 years old taught me a lot about responsible driving, trust, and it probably taught Grandpa a lot about fear. Too much to mention, but those trips were gold.
7. When I was little and it got late, I always worried that I would be the last person awake in the whole world. I would turn my alarm clock backward and listen for truck traffic on I-75 to assure myself that I wasn't the only person not sleeping. Sometimes I would cry and have anxiety attacks about this irrational fear...until I learned about time zones.
